Welcome to the fourth issue of Karrier Connected, our monthly digest dedicated to sharing the latest and greatest from us at Karrier One. This February has been a great month, beginning with our Karrier Pigeons releasing, our attendance at ETHDenver, and the release of our technical Whitepaper!
On February 13th, one day before Valentine’s Day, Early Adopter NFT holders were airdropped their very own Karrier Pigeon!
Karrier Pigeons function as a small gift to our early adopters, serving as a fun PFP collection. This is the first of many exciting rewards for Early Adopter NFT holders. There are 10,000 Karrier Pigeons in total, with 11 special Legendary Pigeons! Our team also ran a giveaway for Karrier Pigeon #3975, the Legendary Galaxy Pigeon!
We hope everyone enjoyed this small community airdrop. The best is yet to come for Early Adopter NFT holders!
Members from our team attended ETHDenver 2024, from February 23 — March 3rd. We made an appearance at IoTeX’s R3ALWORLD event, meeting some amazing minds within the DePIN community.
But the most endearing part of the experience was attending Sui Connect, with our CTO Andrew Buchanan speaking about going beyond EVM, and integrating Karrier One into the Sui chain using Move.
Thank you to Mysten Labs & Sui for having us. It was an amazing experience, and definitely the highlight of our trip!
And with that, ETHDenver finished rather quickly. Our team now looks forward to April, for Sui Basecamp!
To top off the month, we released our revised technical Whitepaper. This document mainly covers how the Karrier One Network & Chain will function, along with info about Gatekeeper Nodes & KNS. If you haven’t already, go check it out.
But why a “technical” whitepaper?
We’re currently still finalizing our tokenomics & inflationary metrics, as well as rewards for Early Adopter NFT holders. All of this info (including Early Adopter rewards) will come in a separate tokenomics document that is being reviewed by folks at Mysten Labs. You may have read through the whitepaper and found little mention of early adopters or the KONE token, but this is done on purpose. More info regarding these topics will come in the near future, and it will be worth the wait.
This March, our primary focus is continuing the development of KNS as well as completing our Tokenomics paper to share with the community. Our team is also hard at work preparing for Sui Basecamp, which will be taking place in early April.
In the meantime, check out this article Sui themselves posted going over some info about Karrier One. We will see you next month, and as always, thank you for reading to the end!
